| Picnic at Angoulême |
La Rencontre Animée 2010 brought together teams from UArts, EESI, and Glyndwr, welcoming comics instructor Dan Berry from the Welsh university, to EESI in Angoulême. This year's project was a paper cutout, combining the talents of animation, illustration, and comics students, and treating the theme of cultural difference via "A Day in the Life." Three fictitious students, one French, one British, and one American, go through the course of their day, hoping to meet up in the end for dinner - this doesn't happen, cultural differences getting in the way...
